Ever Heard Of A 'Chrysler Flying Spur'? Here’s One From Bangladesh
A person in Bangladesh has re badged his Bentley Flying Spur with Chrysler ones to evade taxes.
There are a number of people out there who like to rebadge cars, just to try and fool people into thinking they own expensive automobiles. One very interesting example is a Mazda dressed to look like a Ferrari, with all the prancing horse badges in the right place.
But here's one unique character, who has decided to downgrade his car with such a badge. The unknown person person from Bangladesh has decided to rebadge his Bentley with Chrysler badges.
The reason — to evade taxes! Reports suggest that Bangladesh has 400 percent import duties (Still think India's 125 percent is expensive?) and to evade paying such high taxes, he thought shelling his cash on a few Chrysler badges was better.
The car is a Bentley Flying Spur W12S, that packs a 6.0-litre engine that makes 626bhp under the hood. The car produces a whopping 820Nm of peak torque and the engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that powers all four wheels.
The idea seems pointless but thinking of it — 400 percent duty? Just to help you get a better picture, the Audi A4 costs a shade over Rs 38 lakh in India, but in Bangladesh, the car costs an equivalent of Rs 72 lakh!
