China has experienced a 50km long traffic jam, when people were trying to get home during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Traffic jams are something that the whole world is trying to battle, and China has experienced one of the worst in recent times — a 50km long jam.
The Beijing – Hong Kong Expressway witness one of the worst traffic jams when people were trying to get back home after the week-long Lunar New Year holiday. Images of the Jam appeared on Twitter.
China has a 40 day Lunar New Year travel rush that started on January 13 and the jam was caused when people were heading home to spend the holidays with family members.
This particular travel rush is known as ‘Chun Yun' and is referred to around the world as the largest mass migration. The term is quite evident by the 50km long jam.
Sometimes, traffic jams would make you wish you had an off-roader, to drive off the road and beat the long jams. One of the most capable off-roader money can buy at the moment is the Mahindra Thar. Take a look at the image gallery below.
