Castrol Blackout Brings Back Ken Block & Company For Edge Titanium FST
Ken Block is back in the news yet again in his trusted GRC Ford Fiesta. Only, this time he is joined by three others, driving an equally spectacular set of cars, which is our Facebook video of the day.
This is not another Gymkhana stunt, but a promotional video for Castrol's new Edge engine oil with ‘Titanium FST', which it calls its strongest engine oil ever.
Besides Ken Block in his Fiesta, there's German Audi DTM driver Mike Rockenfeller in his Audi R8, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus in his BMW M4 and South African race car driver Adrian Zaugg in a Lamborghini Aventador.
The video is titled ‘Blackout', and has the drivers cutting through the darkness trying to outrun laser lights. The lone stunt performed has Block jumping over the Audi R8 as the latter scrapes its rear end through a pile of dirt.
We fail to see how fast cars, darkness and laser lights have any relation with the new engine oil Castrol is trying to promote. Nevertheless, it makes for a fine watch.
