New Cars 3 Trailer Revealed – Is It Stormy Weather Ahead For Lightning McQueen?
The extended trailer of Cars 3 tells the new rival of Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm is way too modern and powerful.
The latest extended look trailer for Pixar's Cars 3 once again strikes home the point that Lightning McQueen is old-school and nearing out-of-date.
The trailer begins with more footage of his new opponent, Jackson Storm, who is squarely excellent in every way. The trailer reveals that Jackson Storm is more aerodynamic, has more downforce and has a higher top speed compared to the old school Lightning McQueen.
Even the mystery narrator of the trailer tells McQueen that this is just the beginning of more powerful, faster cars are coming.
Not only is Lightning McQueen dealing with being slower compared to the new generation of cars, but he also seems to have been involved in not one, but two major accidents.
The first crash we knew about was shown in the original teaser, and it occurred during the day. This new footage shows a clear shot of a night race accident. But of course, we know that won't stop the famed NASCAR inspired McQueen.
Along with previously shown locales, such as a brut-looking figure eight course, it looks like McQueen will be using his much required time back in Radiator Springs.
