Bugatti, Palmer Johnson Launch Niniette Line Of Luxury Yachts
Bugatti has teamed up with Palmer Johnson, the world's largest luxury yacht manufacturer to launch the Niniette series of fast luxury yachts.
The new yachts take their name — Niniette — from Ettorio Buggati's nickname for his daughter Lidia. It was also the name given to the Bugatti family's boats.
Buggati officials state that the exterior of the harks back to legendary Bugatti's like the Type 57 C Atalante and the Type 41 Royale. The boats feature swathes of naked carbon fibre as well as wood, titanium and dual-tone paint schemes, things that are common to the current iteration of Bugatti, the Veyron . Also similar to the Veyron is the fast speeds; the top speed of the the Niniette is a brisk 38 knots (70km/h).
The Niniette will be available in three different sizes — 42, 63 and 88 feet. The 42 foot variant has a price tag of $2.175 million, while the 63 foot variant costs $3.535 million. Prices for the 88 foot variant are only available for buyers who contact the seller. All three variants take 12 months to build.
