This Aston Martin Rapide Is Not A Police Car
The photographs of an Aston Martin Rapide wrapped in Delhi Police livery went viral on the internet.
The pictures of a Delhi Police Aston Martin went viral on the internet, and everybody was curious about the car. Now the mystery behind this car is finally solved.
The Aston Martin Rapide which costs around Rs 4.1 crore in question is wrapped in the livery identical to Delhi Police vehicles. It also has a 'Dial 100' message written on it.
So, did Delhi Police just bought a supercar for patrolling the city? Unfortunately, the answer is a big no. The supercar will be used in Sushant Singh Rajput's next movie, "Drive". The producer of the film also confirmed the news.
The Aston Martin Rapide draws power from a 5.9-litre V12 engine pumping out 470bhp and 600Nm of peak torque. The British supercar will be featuring alongside a Lamborghini Murcielago in the movie.

The producer of the movie Karan Johar also confirmed the development in a tweet. The Aston Martin Rapide was captured at the BigBoyzToyz dealership.
It would have been cool to see an Aston Martin Rapide patrolling the streets of the capital city. But it seems like we have to wait for few more years to see that! But for now, we can only see the supercar in a movie.
