Aston Martin AM37—The Luxury Power Boat

Aston Martin as we all know make some of most luxurious car, that are fast as well. Under Design Director Marek Reichman's reign, Aston Martin manufactured some of the best looking cars such as the One-77, Rapide, Vanquish and the Vulcan.

So one day, Aston Martin thought about open its world to water and the result is the Aston Martin AM37—a stunning piece of engineering with the right curves.

Here is a look at what makes this boat not just special, but also an engineering beauty:

DESIGN:

This 37-foot powerboat was designed at the company's factory and design centre in Gaydon, in accordance with Aston Martin's "heart over mind" approach to creative design . That's the same approach which led Aston Martin to design some of the most eye-catching sports cars.

REAR DESIGN:

The Yacht's sculpted stern will look like the rear of a modern Aston Martin car itself, since boats and cars share characteristics which make them "dynamic sculptures" says Reichman.

STRUCTURE:

The Aston Martin AM37 is made up of carbon composite structure, which was created using Dutch naval architects Mulder Design to make sure it offers comfort and performance like the cars.

VERSIONS:

There will be two versions of the AM37—Standard AM37 which will have a top speed of 50 knots, and a AM37 S version, with a maximum speed of 60 knots.

LAUNCH:

Being the first of several crafts in the Aston Martin powerboat range, the AM37 will be launched in September this year at the Monaco Yacht Show. So, its not a long wait for those sea lovers who cant wait to have an Aston Martin.
