The new Star City+ is expected to be launched in the first week of May. Initially, however, the 110cc motorcycle will only be available in Northern states of India such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, UP and Bihar. Only by June will the Star City+ be available across the country.

TVS Star City+ has been given a minor visual makeover to give it a premium feel. The new design is sharper than the regular Star City. It also gets new, lively graphics, a redesigned headlamp, fuel tank with knee recesses, larger, more comfortable seats that feature contrast stitching, a new exhaust pipe design and dual-tone mudguard.
Aside from the redesign, TVS Star City+ will also debut with mechanical changes such as the five-step adjustable hydraulic rear suspension, whereas the Star City only has a two-step adjustable unit.
The 110cc Ecothurst DLI engine has the same specifications as the regular model - 8.3 horsepower at 7000 rpm and 8.7 Nm torque at 5000 rpm. However, TVS claims the engine has been refined to deliver more mileage.
Last but not least, the new motorcycle offers an all-gear electric start, service reminder and digital speedometer with Econometer.
