Toyota Etios Cross Launched - Price, Features & Other Details
The new Etios Cross has been officially launched in India for a starting price of INR 5,76,000. The crossover version of the Etios Liva hatch, it was first revealed at the Auto Expo 2014 in February. Toyota already has the Etios Cross on sale in Brazil.
Despite its rugged looks, the Etios Cross is not an a true off-roader, but is instead more suited for city use. If does, however, offer the rugged stance and feel of a compact SUV for those who desire these characteristics in a small car.

On offer with the Etios Cross are three engines - two petrol and one diesel
- 1.5-litre petrol (DOHC) - 90 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 132 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm
- 1.2-litre petrol (DOHC) -80 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 3100 rpm
- 1.4-litre diesel (D4D) - 68 horsepower at 3800 rpm and 170 Nm of torque between 1800-2400 rpm
- 1.5-litre petrol - 16.78 kpl
- 1.2-litre petrol - 17.71 kpl
- 1.4-litre diesel - 23.59 kpl

The exterior of the crossover is characterized by a silver coloured grille at the front, black, durable looking plastic cladding that cover the entire lower portion of the car, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, roof rails, turn indicators integrated in the fog lamps and ORVMs, and Etios Cross badging on the rear bumper cladding.

Toyota Etios Cross Interior Features
The car features a piano black centre console, fabric seat cover with contrasting white stitch and logo, 2 DIN audio system with Bluetooth, USB, AUX-in and remote and leather wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio controls.

Safety features include ABS with EBD, and driver and passenger airbags.

Apart from the existing colour options of Ultramarine Blue, Classic Grey, Symphony Silver, Celestial Black, White, Vermilion Red & Harmony Beige, the latest addition to the palate is Inferno Orange that is pictured in these images.
