As a mark of completing a year since its launch, the company has launched a limited Anniversary Edition of the Nissan Terrano compact SUV in the Indian market.
The Anniversary Edition is aimed at enhancing the bold lines of the SUV to the package. This special version will loads of features, both on the exterior and interior front.
The vehicle production will be limited to only 450 units in India and will be available only as an extension of XVD THP and XVD THP Premium variants.
The Terrano Anniversary Edition XVD THP is priced at INR 12,83,645 while the XVD THP Premium bears a price tag of INR 13,13,725 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
Guillaume Sicard, President of Nissan India Operations said at the time of unveiling the Terrano Anniversary Edition, The Terrano is Nissan's first compact SUV in India and the torchbearer of Nissan SUV heritage.
The response to the Terrano has been overwhelming. It has been well accepted as an urban compact SUV and has established itself as a rugged yet stylish vehicle he added.
The company believes that this limited Anniversary Edition is an invitation to Nissan customers to celebrate Terrano's success. Nissan is sure that these exclusive touches will excite customers and make their Terrano experience even better.
The styling features of the Terrano include twin racing stripes on the bonnet, blacked-out roof and door pillars and a rear spoiler. Side steps on either side make for easier ingress and egress from the vehicle.
A chrome strip on the tailgate and chrome door handles add to the premium feel. To add to the exclusivity, there is an ‘Anniversary Edition' badge.
For the interiors, the Anniversary Edition gets a head-up display. A feature aimed to provide vital information to the driver, the head-up display projects driving information on to a screen in the line of sight for the driver.
This unit can be paired with navigation apps on smartphones via Bluetooth and will display directions along with time and vehicle speed.
This feature is normally found only in high-end vehicles and the Terrano Anniversary Edition is the first vehicle in its segment to be so equipped.
