2014 Tata Aria Facelift Launched; Price Rs 9.95 lakhs

Tata Motors has launched the facelifted version of the Aria MPV without any hype. The 2014 Tata Aria receives minor changes which are hardly noticeable. These include new side decals and projector headlamps, even for the base variant.

The Aria facelift also gets an improved 2.2-litre VariCor diesel engine which now delivers slightly more power, at 150 HP and 320 Nm of torque. Tata also says the engine is now more refined and economical.

2014 Tata Aria is available in three variants - base Pure 4X2, Pleasure 4X2 and Pride 4X4.

The base variant provides projector headlamps as stated earlier, remote central locking, driver information system, rear air-con vents, sunglass holder, electric ORVMs follow-me-home lamps and disc brakes.

The mid Pleasure 4X2 variant adds to this double DIN stereo system, steering mounted audio controls, roof storage bins, chilled glove box, rear wiper and defogger. On the safety front this variant gets reverse parking sensors, front airbags and ABS with EBD. On the outside the mid-variant Aria gets chrome door handles, full chrome grille and body coloured roof rails.

Lastly, the top-of-the-line Pride 4X4 offers all-wheel drive system as the name suggests, leather upholstery, sat-nav, reverse parking camera, Harman infotainment system, cruise control, automatic climate control, headlamps with black surrounds, front, side & curtain airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP and traction control.

The 2014 Tata Aria facelift is available for a starting price of INR 9.95 lakhs for the base Pure 4X2 LX variant and INR 14.74 lakhs for the top-of-the-line Pride 4X4 variant.
