Mercedes-Benz CLS & E-Cabriolet Launching In India On 25th March
German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has promised to launch 15 vehicles in 2015. On the 25th of March, 2015 they will launch two new models the E 400 Cabriolet and CLS 250 CDI.
The CLS will be offered for very first time in India, while the E-Cabriolet was discontinued and re-enters in a new avatar. Both these models are expected to boost sales for the German manufacturer in India.
Mercedes will introduce its CLS 250 CDI in India as a Completely Built Unit. It will borrow several design cues from their A-Class hatchback. The new model is expected to lure in more youthful buyers to the brand.
The Mercedes CLS will be powered by a 2143cc diesel engine. It will produce 204.08 horsepower, along with 500 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
The CLS is a stylish looking 4-door coupe, its rear is the most impressive looking. It shouts elegance and premium, attention to detail is of the highest importance with this model.
Convertible's are surely an eye catcher no matter in which part of the world you live in. Mercedes will launch its E 400 Cabriolet for those customers who want to be seen in a luxurious vehicle with its roof down.
The E 400 cabriolet will be powered by a V6 twin turbo, 3.0-litre petrol engine. It produces 333.24 horsepower and 480 Nm of peak torque. This cabriolet can sprint from 0 to 100 kph in a matter of 5.3 seconds.
The E 400 Cabriolet will be a two-door model and will have an electric soft top. Occupants can open or close the roof while travelling at a maximum speed of 40 kph.
