Maruti Suzuki Ciaz India Launch Confirmed For 6th October
Japanese automobile giant Maruti Suzuki has frequently come up with interesting products for Indian market. They had recently launched their extremely popular automatic hatchback the Celerio. The Manufacturer had also showcased a concept sedan, which was promised to be launched within 2014.
Maruti Suzuki has christened its latest sedan as the Ciaz and is an interesting proposition from the manufacturer. They have already commenced bookings for their new sedan. The Ciaz will replace Maruti Suzuki's SX4 model, which was earlier sold in India.
The Ciaz sedan will be launched in India on 6th of October, 2014. Maruti Suzuki has also roped in Bollywood star Ranveer Singh as their brand ambassador for Ciaz. The new sedan will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options.
Maruti Suzuki has revealed the engines, although they have not yet shared figures. The Ciaz will be powered by a K14B petrol engine, while the Japanese engineers will provide their sedan with a DDis200 diesel mill. The manufacturer claims both these engines to be highly fuel efficient.
The Ciaz sedan will be equipped with class leading safety features like Dual Airbags, rear parking sensors, seat belt tensioners with force limiters, ABS with EBD and the body itself is made of high tensile steel making the vehicle a fortress.
Maruti Suzuki has paid special attention to the interiors of its Ciaz to give it a premium feel. The Japanese will be equipping their sedan with latest tech goodies and other creature comforts. We believe it will stack up well against Honda City and Hyundai's Verna. We will be providing information from the event live.
