Mahindra Scorpio S4+ Variant Launched For 2015
Indian automobile giant Mahindra had launched its next generation Scorpio in India by late 2014. They changed everything about the Sports Utility Vehicle except its name. It was launched in six trim levels, which ranges from various different features.
For 2015 Mahindra has introduced a new trim level offering more feature in the mid model. The new trim will be known as the S4+ and is positioned above their S4 model. It will be priced a bit higher owing to additional features than a model below it.
The main highlights of Scorpio S4+ are additional safety features in the mid-variant. Mahindra will be offering front airbags for both driver and passenger. It will also sport anti-lock brake system with EBD, panic brake warning and seatbelt reminder.
The Indian manufacturer also provides its Scorpio new trim with follow-me-home headlights. It will also sport the shift on the fly all-wheel drive system, which will be available only in their S4+ trim. Like the trims below it, this too will feature black cladding and will not drive on alloy wheels.
The Scorpio S4+ AWD model will be priced at a premium of INR 10,40,564 ex-showroom, Thane. Mahindra Scorpio S4+ will be priced attractively at INR 9,28,019 ex-showroom, Thane. This is a price increase of almost INR 50,000 for the new trim option.
Mahindra plans to introduce new models and facelifts in 2015. They plan to launch a new compact sedan in India, to rival its competitors. Scorpio is their most trusted brand in India and will continue being offered in the country.
