Lamborghini Huracan India Launch In Sept, 3rd Showroom In Bangalore
Lamborghini, like all luxury car manufacturers in India, has a small presence in India. However, unlike its competitors, this Italian supercar brand shown strong growth in the recent past.
The Gallardo was the company's best selling model ever worldwide and the same was the case in India. But it is likely that the Huracan, Gallardo's successor, will perform even better.

Expected to be priced upwards of INR 3.4 crores in the country, the Huracan will be launched in India in the early second half of the year, reports BS. Deliveries are then set to begin by September.
Over 1,000 bookings have been received worldwide for the Huracan and some of them are from India, according to Pavan Shetty, Head of Operations, Lamborghini India.
Some interesting facts related to Lamborghini in India
- India amounts to only 1 percent of Lamborghini's global sales, but it is expected to become the top-10 market for the company in the not too distant future.
- The company sold 22 units in 2013, that may seem small, but it amounted to a growth of 29 percent.
- Special private preview of the Huracan was held in India, one of the few selected markets to receive this special privilege.
- Despite being a boutique brand, Lamborghini has two outlets in India, located in Delhi and Mumbai and plans to add a third one in Bangalore in the second half of 2014.
- The average age of a Lamborghini customer in India is 35-40 years.
- Majority of Indian Lamborghini buyers are business men.
