Honda Undecided About A Smaller-Than-Brio Car For India
Honda, the Japanese car maker has not yet decided about whether to introduce a smaller car than the Brio for the Indian market. Jnaneswar Sen, Honda Senior VP sales and marketing said that Honda is still unclear whether the company should enter or not into this category.
In Honda's global lineup, the Brio is their smallest car and the research and development team here in India and Japan are studying the market for a smaller car from Honda.
Gaining just two percent market share in India, the Brio was not very successful as Honda expected, so they are not ready to push the model in the near future.
Sen said that the City, Amaze and the recently launched Mobilio are focused on pushing the sales volume higher.
