Honda BR-V Launched In Bangalore, Prices Start At Rs. 8.86 Lakhs
Honda has launched its brand new compact SUV, the BR-V, in Bangalore. Prices for the BR-V start at Rs. 8.86 lakhs, ex-showroom (Bangalore).

Specifications
The Honda BR-V uses petrol and disesl engines both of which displace 1.5-liters each.
The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 117bhp and 140Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 98bhp and 200Nm of torque.
Both the petrol and diesel engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox but the petrol also has the option of a 6-speed CVT automatic gearbox which comes with paddleshifters.
The BR-V petrol returns a mileage of 15.4km/l with the manual gearbox while the automatic returns a mileage of 16km/l. The Honda BR-V diesel returns a mileage of 21.9km/l.
Design
The BR-V reminds you of its larger sibling the CR-V from the front with its squared off looks. The chrome grille is flanked on both sides by sleek headlamps and sits above a large air dam.
The
rear
of
the
car
is
rather
bland
with
only
the
LED
taillamps
and
the
chrome
slat
above
the
numberplate
holder
providing
any
relief
from
the
flatness
of
the
rear.
Both
the
front
and
rear
bumpers
are
fitted
with
faux
skid
plates
and
a
plastic
cladding
runs
across
the
bottom
of
the
vehicle.
Inside, the BR-V has a premium look and feel. The centre console features the controls for the infotainment system and the automatic A/C and is finished off in piano black. The steering wheel features controls for the infotainment system and in the top end automatic petrol variant, there are paddle shifters as well.
Availability
Booking for the BR-V started before the SUV's launch and the the new BR-V is available in all Honda dealerships across Bangalore and Karnataka.
