On reaching Bangalore, the car has already clocked more than 14,500kms. Driving through 250 cities and towns across various terrains and parts of the nation, the drive will conclude at Greater Noida.
The Honda Amaze, has seen a very good response in India. In just 16 months since its launch, the product has reached its 1,00,000 sales milestone.
This is the fastest in the history of Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL). The company is celebrating this success by organizing the ‘Longest Drive through Amazing India' initiative, which is a part of Honda's "Amazingly Indian" campaign.
The drive will cover mountainous terrains, coastlines, highways, packed city roads and the interiors of India, showcasing the quality of the Honda Amaze through these diverse terrains.
Honda Cars India entered the diesel car segment in the country with the Honda Amaze, venturing into new market segments and increasing its operation.
Powered by the 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine and 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine, the Amaze continues to be a good package which delivers good fuel-efficiency, space and safety.
