Ferrari LaFerrari Convertible Set For Launch In 2015
With the number of people with stratospherically high disposable income growing, makers of exotic cars are finding it quite easy to sell their products with mind boggling price tags.
As if the million dollar LaFerrari was not already sufficient enough, the Italian marque is said to have decided to bring out a convertible version of the hybrid coupe, reports Automobile Magazine.

According to the report, Ferrari will launch 50 LaFerrari Spyders next year. This number is expected to be a part of the 499 LaFerrari supercars that are to be built. The LaFerrari sans the roof, however, is expected to cost twice as much as the hardtop version!
The report also talks about the LaFerrari FXX, the track only version of the Ferrari flagship. Also set for a launch in 2015, the extreme, non-road legal version of the LaFerrari would have an insane power output of 1050 horsepower, the reports says. If true, this would be more than the McLaren P1 GTR's expected power output of 986 horsepower.
Only 30 Ferrari LaFerrari FXX would be built. Naturally, both the convertible and the FXX versions of the LaFerrari would be offered to worthy Ferrari owners. These are people who already own nearly half a dozen other Ferrari cars.
While there's no news about how much the LaFerrari FXX might cost, considering the McLaren P1 GTR will be sold for $3.36 million, Ferrari's car is likely to cost more.
