518bhp Off-Road Supercar Enters Production
UAE-based automaker Zarooq Motors has revealed the off-road supercar, the SandRacer 500GT.
UAE-based automaker Zarooq Motors has revealed the off-road supercar, the SandRacer 500GT. The off-roading machine combines the design of a coupe and toughness of an off-roader.
The Zarook SandRacer 500GT was first showcased in 2015 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. And after two years of development, the vehicle has finally entered production.
The SandRacer 500GT draws power from a 6.2-litre V8 engine producing 518bhp and 660Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed sequential gearbox.
The bodywork is made out of carbon fibre, so the kerb weight stands at just 1,300kg. The SandRacer 500GT is built to conquer the desert, so it gets off-road suspension with two ride height settings.
The SandRacer is shod with off-road tyres, and it is equipped with racing harnesses and full roll cage. The vehicle is also meant for road use. So, the interior features air conditioning, LCD screen, music system, cup holders and leather upholstery.
Zarook Motors plans to manufacture and retail 35 units of the vehicle. The off-road supercar is priced at 4,50,000 dollars (approximately Rs 2.90 crore).

The Zarook SandRacer 500GT is a Lamborghini or Ferrari of off-roading. The design of the vehicle is unique with a combination of coupe and off-roader. But you have to pay a hefty price to own this off road supercar.
