World’s First Lamborghini Centenario Delivered To Customer
The world's first Lamborghini Centenario has been delivered to a customer in UAE. Only 40 units of the limited edition model will be manufactured.
Automobili Lamborghini revealed a limited edition model at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, named as the Centenario. Based on the Aventador, the model was introduced to commemorate the centenary of the carmaker's founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini.
Now almost a year after the unveiling, the very first customer unit of the Centenario has been delivered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The world's first Centenario is one of the 40 units manufactured at Sant Agata Bolognese.
The total number of units of the Centenario to be produced will be equally divided between the Coupe and Roadster variants.
The Roadster variant of the Lamborghini Centenario was unveiled in August last year at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours D'elegance in California.
The very first customer Lamborghini Centenario is finished in a shade of orange. The car also receives blacked out parts such as the roof, ORVMs and aerodynamic elements.
As per the reports, the Lamborghini Centenario costs a whopping 10 million UAE Dirham (approximately Rs 18 crore). You can't even dream of buying one because all the 40 units produced are booked.
The Lamborghini Centenario draws power from a6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine pumping out 770bhp. The power is delivered to all the four wheels via a 7-speed automated manual transmission.
The Supercar can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 2.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 350km/h.
