World’s Most Expensive McLaren 675LT Has Components Made Out Of Gold
McLaren creates an exclusive true one-off version of the McLaren 675LT and here is how it looks like.
We all know that McLaren supercars are expensive because they are made of carbon-fibre, magnesium, aluminium and so on. And when it comes to the options list, all additionals are damn too expensive.
Well, the model shown here is the most expensive McLaren 675LT and it is the Spider Version of one of the 25 Carbon Series models. The regular 675LT will cost you about $372,000 (Rs 2.53 crores) but this Carbon bad boy comes with a price tag of $820,000 (Rs 5.59 crores).
This particular model is one of the 3 Carbon Series models to be finished in a paint job that allows the carbon fibre weave to be visible. McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has painted this model with special blue, which only allows the weave to show up only in certain angles.
Another jaw-dropping features of the Carbon model are the engine bay is insulated with gold which was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. There are also some bits of gold here and there like gold wheel weights and gold dials.
Reports suggest that it took more than 100 hours combined for McLaren Beverly Hills and McLaren Technology Centre, UK. Both had only one goal, to create an exclusive true one-off version of the McLaren 675LT and they finally did.
The McLaren 675LT Carbon draws power from the same 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 as the regular version. The motor produces 675bhp of power, which propels the car from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top whack of 326 km/h.
Lamborghini has always made cars which look absolutely astonishing and manic. The new raging bull, the Aventador S also follows the tradition. Check our photo gallery of this V12 powered masterpiece.
