Women’s Rally To The Valley Set To Start On March 5
The Women’s Rally To The Valley third edition is start on 5 March 2017, and here are all the details.
The third edition of the 'Women's Rally To The Valley' is set to kick off on March 5, 2017, to celebrate Women's Day. The event will spread the message on women's safety, and will be organised by the Western India Automobile Association (WIAA).
The WIAA will be organising the event in partnership with JK Tyres and Aamby Valley City. For this year's event, around 800 to 1000 women are expected to participate, and the all-women car rally will start from Hotel Sahara Star at 7:00 a.m., and will travel through some of the city's famous landmarks.
A team of celebrities will be along the route, on major points to encourage the women participants. There will also be safety volunteers to ensure a smooth ride for women.
The participants will be provided with lunch and entertainment, post which the participants will return to Mumbai. The event will end with a party, in presence of a live DJ.
Last year, the event witnessed over 1000 women participate and saw over 240 vehicles be part of this rally. All women drivers in the city are welcome to participate in this year's rally to spread awareness.
No doubt the Women's Rally has all good intentions, but so does the Mahindra Baja SAE, that concluded recently. Here's an in-depth photo gallery of what took place.
