Volkswagen Reveals Five New Concepts
The five concepts were created with an attempt to channel various aspects of VW enthusiasts, ranging from the Beetle, Golf, and Jetta.
Volkswagen revealed five new concept vehicles headed to be showcased at the European Experience in Savannah, Georgia, which is on now and runs until May 21, 2017.
The five concepts were created based on the iconis Beetle, Golf, and Jetta.
Volkswagen Beetle Post Concept
Championship-winning BMX rider Alise Post designed the Beetle. Starting with a standard Beetle R-Line, the Post concept adds two custom GW bikes, 19-inch Mr Drama Queen wheels along with H&R Springs street performance coil-over suspension.
Volkswagen Jetta Nardo Concept
The Jetta Nordo concept supplements subtle touches to performance and obtains a popular exterior colour from the Audi brand: Nardo Gray. The H&R Springs street performance coil-over suspension system seen on the Beetle Post concept is also seen on the Jetta Nardo along with a set of BFGoodrich G-Force Comp-2 tires.
Volkswagen Golf GTI RS
Likely to be the most popular concept among the five, are the Volkswagen Golf concepts: one GTI and one R. The Golf GTI RS concept plays on the modern modifying trends. Sam Dobbins, Creative Director at Vossen Wheels designed the Golf GTS RS.
Dobbins outfitted the Golf GTI RS concept with a wide body kit, inspired by Japan's Rocket Bunny body kits. Also, the it guarantees zero wheel rub which occurs when the Golf is moving. Additionally, there is a set of low-profile roof crossbars and a carrier box for storage.
Inside the Golf GTI RS cabin, the upholstery has been removed to expose the bare minimum; however, a polished aluminium floor pan and the racing seats are a couple striking, eye-catching features. The GTI RS rides on Vossen wheels as well.
Golf R Heritage Concept
One of the most grounded when it comes to aftermarket trends, is the Golf R Heritage concept. A series of stripes flowing down the side of the concept imitate the German flag's colours and provide a hearty dose of contrast from the black exterior shade.
Bridgestone G-Force Comp-2 tires provide extra grip along with the Vossen wheels, and H&R Springs is once again seen to lower the Golf R Heritage.
Volkswagen Golf Alltrack Country Concept
Lastly, Volkswagen decided to give the Golf Alltrack some admiration with the Alltrack Country concept. Motivated by the third-generation Golf Country special edition, the Alltrack Country concept comes with an additional 2-inch lift for greater ground clearance.
The Golf Alltrack Country Concept features include a hitch mounted bike rack, roof-mounted tent system, a solar heated shower, a dash of LED lighting. Volkswagen has fitted an entertainment centre which is charged via a solar panel and three onboard batteries in the trunk of the Alltrack concept.
