Honda has lined up new cars for the year 2017 in India, here are the upcoming Honda cars in India with specs, features and expected launch date and price.
Honda India is looking regain the lost momentum in the Indian automobile market, and their first launch is the City sedan. Honda is only the other international automaker after Suzuki and Hyundai to enter India and have been successful in the market.
Honda's best-selling vehicle is the City sedan, launched back in 1997, the car went on to create a new segment with premium features. Honda in India is known for their focus on rich-features and premium products.

Honda WR-V
Honda WR-V is the answer to India's growing compact SUV market. The WR-V from the Japanese automaker is a crossover and based on the Jazz premium hatchback. The company has tweaked the exterior such as plastic body and wheel arch cladding, along with faux skid plates at the front bumper and rear.
The headlamp has been revised to look meaner and imposing and connecting them a thick chrome strip housing the Honda badge. The front bumper is sharper and angular compared to the Jazz hatchback. As for the interiors, the Honda WR-V will feature interiors theme of the Jazz with added elements to bring out the SUV essence.
Honda is expected to power the WR-V crossover with the option of either the 1.2-litre i-Vtec petrol engine or the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel unit.

Honda CR-V
Similar to the popularity of the Honda City, the CR-V SUV enjoys the same cult status in India. Offered only with the petrol unit, the CR-V lost out to diesel powered SUVs which were fuel efficient comparatively.
Honda will launch the next-generation CR-V in India recently unveiled in other countries. The new CR-V features new and sharper headlamps with DRLs, and new LED tail lights. Most of the styling cues remain the same for the new Honda CR-V.
Looking at what Honda could offer to power the CR-V, the company will offer the 2.4-litre petrol mill while the diesel unit could be the 1.6-litre turbocharged engine. Both the motors to be provided with the choice of either the 6-speed manual or the CVT automatic gearbox.

Honda Civic
The launch of the Honda Civic in India has evoked a sense of excitement among auto enthusiasts. The Civic is known for its performance and premium features. The Honda Civic was the first to introduce paddle gear shifter feature in India.
The new Civic with its boomerang LED tail lights, sporty bumpers and flying 'H' chrome grille along with the long outstretched bonnet, brings nostalgia to the fans of the sporty sedan/ hatchback.
With the performance being the cornerstone of the Honda Civic, the sporty sedan will be powered by the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing 145bhp and 210Nm torque.
