Toyota Hilux is one of the best pickup trucks with its off-roading capabilities. But here is a unique Hilux concept named as Hilux Tonka Concept built by Toyota Australia and Tonka.
The Hilux Tonka Concept is based on the double cab variant of the pickup truck. With the eye catching black and yellow livery, the Hilux looks muscular and aggressive.
The Hilux Tonka Concept gets black cladding on the exterior. The pickup truck also features projector headlamps with daytime running LED lights. Two extra LED light bars are positioned at the centre of front bumper and top of the roof.
The concept pickup truck gets carbon fibre finish on the hood and tailgate. The air scoops, rear spoiler and chunky 35-inch tyres distinguish the vehicle from its regular sibling.
The concept off-roading machine also gets protective equipment such as a rugged bash plate made out of 6mm thick alloy and tubular side rails to protect body and chassis.
The Toyota Hilux Tonka Concept gets extra ground clearance of 150mm. The suspension is tweaked to drive over the roughest of terrains.
The Hilux Tonka Concept is powered by a 2.8-litre engine churning out 174bhp of power and 420Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a manual or automatic gearbox in the regular variant of the Hilux.
