Toyota's Window To The World Is The Future Of Car Windows
Toyota is working on a concept named as the 'Window to the World'. This new concept turns a normal window into a smart touchscreen.
Automakers these days are coming up with unique and futuristic technology on their vehicles. A modern car gets all the bells and whistles on the dashboard. Features such as voice-assisted calling function and personalised Internet radio are common these days.
Meanwhile, Toyota is busy looking out of the window. Yes, Toyota Motor Europe and the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design are working on a concept project. The concept turns a regular window into a touchscreen.
The touch screen window allows the passengers to interact with the passing scenery. The concept is named as the ‘Window to the World'.
The Window to the World turns a regular glass window into a sketch toy. The passengers can trace outlines of the objects outside the window. The passengers can also zoom distant objects or measure the distance from the vehicle.
