Elon Musk Confirms No Speedo Or HUD For Model 3
Elon Musk has confirmed on Twitter that Model 3 will only get central screen.
When it was first unveiled last year, the Tesla Model 3's interiors were quite basic with only a central display giving out all the info with no speedo or any other display mounted behind the steering wheel.
Now, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed on Twitter that his company will not sport a separate display for the speedometer.
Musk was asked on Twitter by one of his followers if the new Model 3 would come with a simple mph clock. The Tesla boss's reply was a simple no. When the same fan asked him if the Model 3 would sport a head-up display, the reply from the Tesla boss remained the same.
Musk also confirmed that the new Model 3 wouldn't be the next generation Tesla car but instead would be a scaled down version of the flagship Model S sedan. Musk tweeted out " Am noticing that many people think Model 3 is the ‘next version' of a Tesla, like iPhone 2 vs 3. This is not true. Model 3 is just a smaller, more affordable version of Model S with less range and power, and fewer features. Model S has more advanced technology."
