Tata Xenon Yodha Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs. 6.05 Lakh
The Tata Xenon Yodha pickup truck has been launched in India and is available in both single and double cab options.
The Tata Xenon Yodha pickup truck has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 6.05 lakh for the BS-III variant and Rs 6.19 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Xenon Yodha was launched by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is the Indian automaker's new brand ambassador for Tata's commercial vehicles division.
Powering the 2017 Tata Xenon Yodha pickup truck is a 3.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder common-rail-diesel engine which is available to purchase in either BS-III or BS-IV configurations.
The BS-III compatible engine kicks out 71bhp and 223Nm of torque, while the cleaner BS-IV engine produces 84bhp and 250Nm of torque.
The all-new Xenon Yodha is available in both single and double cab configuration as well as 4x4 and 4x2 variants, The suspension setup has been strengthened and features 5 leaves up front and 9 leaves at the rear for better driveability when loaded and at high speeds.
The loading bay of the Xenon Yodha is 2,550mm long and 1,750 mm wide and has a rated payload of 1,250 kilograms.
With regards to safety, the Yodha has been fitted with anti-roll bars for better stability in loaded conditions at high speeds & loaded off road conditions.
Other safety features include a unique 3-layered body construction, crumple zones, a collapsible steering column, and side intrusion beams, will protect passengers in case a vehicle collides with the sides of the pickup truck.
Tata Motors is offering a 'Buy Back inaugural offer', with an assurance of 50% of the asset cost, after four years of vehicle usage in captive applications, the first ever in the pick-up space.
The new Xenon Yodha is also offered with a first-in-segment customized AMC package of 3 years / 1 lakh kilometers (whichever is earlier) and comes with a best-in-industry assured Warranty of 3 years or 3,00,000 km (whichever is earlier).
