Tata Hexa launched in Bangalore, India. The launch of the Tata Hexa adds an all-new flagship vehicle to Tata Motors' portfolio in India. Prices for the Tata Hexa start at Rs 12.25 lakh ex-showroom (Bangalore).
Tata Hexa Price List, Variants, Bookings and Rivals
The new Tata Hexa is available in three different variants in India: XE, XM, and XT. The XM and XT variants are available with a more powerful version of the same engine and either a6-speed manual or the 6-speed automatic gearboxes, while the XE gets less power and a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The top variant XT will also get a 4x4 version. Tata Hexa is available in six different variants in India. Dealerships of Tata Motors across India are already allowing customers to book the new Hexa with a booking amount of Rs 11,000. The Hexa will rival the Mahindra XUV 500 and the Toyota Innova Crysta.

Tata Hexa Specifications
The Tata Hexa is powered by a 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine which is paired to one of the three gearboxes: 5-speed manual (XE variant only), 6-speed automatic, and 6-speed manual.
The Hexa 4x4 variant uses an electronically controlled Borg-Warner All-Wheel-Drive system which sends the power to all four wheels. There are four driving modes available with the 4x4 variant: Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, and off-road which can be selected using a rotary dial.

Tata Hexa Design And Features
The Hexa features an aggressive design up front with smoked projector headlamps flanking Tata's signature grille.
The front bumper is muscular and plays host to a large central air dam which is flanked on both sides by the integrated DRL and fog lamps.
On the sides, the profile of the Hexa resembles the Aria and the new Hexa sits on either 16-inch steel wheels or 19-inch alloys.
As for the rear profile, the rectangular wraparound taillamps feature LEDs and are connected by a thick chrome strip housing the Tata logo.
On the inside of the Hexa, it features a black sporty interior with well-sculpted seats and seating for either six or seven-occupant.
Also present are Tata's ConnectNext infotainment system, exclusively developed by Harman which features a 5-inch touchscreen with voice commands and other connectivity options along with a 10-speaker audio system by JBL.
Tata has also loaded the SUV with all the safety features available including 6 airbags (front, side, and curtain airbags) along with ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold control, hill descent control, and a traction control system.
