Spotted: 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 Facelift On Indian Roads
The Grand i10 facelift will also sport chrome fog-lamp enclosure and diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Hyundai is all geared up for the launch of the facelifted Grand i10 and the dealerships have already started accepting the orders for the hatchback. The Grand i10 was introduced in the Indian market in 2013 and this is the first time the car is about to get a major facelift.
The petrol variants of the new Grand i10 are expected to be priced between Rs 4.85 lakh and Rs 7.25 lakh. The petrol powered variants will retain the same 1.2-litre VTVT four-cylinder engine which will come paired with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearbox.
The diesel variants are likely to be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 7.79 lakh. Powering the diesel variants will be a new 1.2-litre motor which is capable of producing 74bhp of power and 171Nm of torque.
TopGearIndia has spotted the new Grand i10 on Indian roads. Speaking about the design changes, the 2017 model will feature a redesigned front and rear end. The model now gets a new front grille, new front and rear bumper. The taillight section is also restyled while the headlamp design remains the same.
The Grand i10 facelift will also sport chrome fog-lamp enclosure and diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, the model will feature dual tone interior and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 will compete against the likes of Ford Figo Chevrolet Beat and the Tata Tiago in the entry-level hatchback segment. We can expect Hyundai to launch the facelift model by next month.
