Skoda Octavia Limited Black Edition Teased; Launch Imminent
The top variant of the current Skoda Octavia is priced at Rs 23.10 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The limited black edition features black alloy wheels, black spoiler and ORVMs.
Skoda Auto India has teased the limited black edition of the Octavia sedan ahead of its launch. The Octavia Limited Black Edition will be dearer by Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 compared to the regular model on sale in India.
The Czech automaker is getting ready to launch the limited edition of the Octavia in India by next week, according to ET Auto. The regular Skoda Octavia top variant is priced at Rs 23.10 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The limited black edition Skoda Octavia will feature black alloy wheels, boot lid spoiler in black, black roof, and black ORVMs.

The limited edition Octavia will be restricted to the top variants in both petrol and diesel versions and on the DSG variants. The teaser of the limited black edition Octavia was from the Skoda Auto India's Instagram account.

The Skoda Octavia is available with the choice of 1.4-litre and 1.8-litre petrol engines, while the diesel model is available as a 2.0-litre engine. The 1.8-litre petrol unit is mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox, while the 2.0-litre diesel unit has the option of either the 6-speed manual or 6-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

Skoda Auto India had announced in August 2016 that it will be investing Rs 100 crore to spruce the after sales service and in introducing new variants in India. In 2017, Skoda is planning to launch the Kodiaq SUV, Rapid Monte Carlo Edition and the Octavia RS in India.
