The World's Most Powerful Automotive Brand Is A Thoroughbred Racer
Seven Indian manufacturers have made it to the list of top 100 automotive brands globally. Read on.
Italian carmaker, Ferrari, has emerged as the world's most powerful automotive brand and has also emerged among the top 10 strongest brands across industries.
The result is a global study conducted by Brand Finance, a valuation and strategy consultancy. Ferrari has improved its brand strength by three points this year, compared to last year.
The second most powerful automotive brand according to the study is Porsche, which has scored 86 points. The most valuable brand in the automotive industry is taken by Toyota, whose brand value has seen an increase of 7 percent.
Also, seven Indian manufacturers have made it to the list of top 100 automotive brands, amongst whom Maruti Suzuki leads. The Indo-Japanese carmaker has taken the 34th position in the 2017 study.
Mahindra makes it on the list as well, in the 45th position, followed by Hero MotoCorp in the 60th place, Tata Motors at 65, Bajaj in the 68th position, Ashok Leyland in the 90th place, and TVS in the 97th.
