Renault India Begins Nation-Wide Road Safety Week

Renault India’s road safety campaign will highlight the need and essence of road safety rules, including traffic lights, speed limits, pedestrian rules, wearing seats among others.

Renault India is celebrating the 'National Road Safety Week' in association with SIAM-SAFE (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers-Society of Automotive Fitness and Environment) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

In keeping with the theme ‘pedestrian safety', the French automaker will have road safety awareness campaigns from January 9 - 15, 2017 across all the dealerships of Renault India.

The campaign will highlight the essence of road safety rules, including traffic lights, speed limits, pedestrian rules, wearing seats among others for civilians.

Also, included in the campaign are activities based on driver's' education program and increasing road safety awareness among school children through various training workshops and modules.

The week-long initiative will see Renault India's dealerships across the country interact with customers to promote road safety, creating awareness about causes of road accidents, and measures to prevent them.

The various activities planned is keeping in mind school and college students, drivers and commuters and consumers.

The activities will include the display of safety banners, road signage and pamphlets related to road safety, playing safety films at the customer lounge in dealerships and organising rally to encourage people to obey road safety rules.

Customers visiting the dealerships during the campaign can also avail some exciting offers on braking parts and safety accessories along with offers of tyre purchase.

Renault India said via a press release that safety is an integral part of the company and is committed to improving road safety. Also, added that all Renault cars are equipped with solutions to protect drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and other motorists. Renault India said that the world over they play an active role with public authorities, organisations and the world of education in improving road safety.
