Range Rover Velar Bookings In India Begins

The Range Rover Velar sits on the same underpinnings as the Jaguar F-Pace's aluminium-intensive IQ platform.The India-spec Range Rover Velar is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol and 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel units. diesel. The 2.0-litre petrol mill churns out 247bhp and 365Nm of torque, while the 2.0-litre diesel unit produces 178bhp and 430Nm of torque.
The 3.0-litre V6 diesel powerplant develops 296bhp and 700Nm of torque. 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive (AWD) are standard are across variants.
Among the features, the Range Rover comes equipped with Touch Pro Duo infotainment system which combines two 10-inch HD touchscreens and 1,600-watt, 23-speaker Meridian Signature Sound audio system. However, features may vary for the Indian market.
Prices for the Range Rover Velar is expected to be in the range of Rs 70 lakh to Rs 1 crore ex-showroom when launched in India.
