British automaker Land Rover has launched the petrol variant of the new Range Rover Evoque SUV in India.
The petrol powered Evoque is priced at Rs 53.20 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi) and can be booked from Land Rover's 23 dealerships across India and at www.findmeasuv.in.
Powering the newest variant of the Range Rover Evoque in India is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 236.7bhp and 339Nm of torque which is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
The new Range Rover Evoque petrol will sprint from 0-60mph (96.5km/h) in just 7.1 seconds and the petrol-powered Evoque will keep on accelerating till it tops out at 217km/h.
There are five diesel variants of the Range Rover Evoque already on sale in India: Pure, SE, SE Dynamic, HSE and HSE Dynamic all of which are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine.
