Range Rover Evoque Landmark Special Edition Launched
Land Rover is celebrating six years of Range Rover Evoque Landmark with a special edition in the UK; will make its global debut on May 10, 2017.
Land Rover has launched a special edition of the Range Rover Evoque Landmark to celebrate six years of the compact SUV. The British luxury carmaker has launched the Evoque Landmark Special Edtion for £39,000 (approx Rs 32 lakh) in the UK.
The special edition Evoque Landmark will debut on May 10, 2017, at the Royal Windsor Horse in the UK. The compact SUV will be available in Moraine Blue colour - inspired by the turquoise lakes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
In the last six years, Land Rover's Halewood production plant in the UK has built 600,000 Evoques. Six years after the launch, sales touched an all-time high for a single month with nearly 18,000 units sold in March 2017.
The Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition is available in Yulong White and Corris Grey as well. The Evoque Landmark has grey exterior design details comprising a Carpathian Grey contrast panoramic roof, 19-inch Gloss Dark Grey alloy wheels and Graphite Atlas grille, bonnet, fender vent and tailgate lettering.
The Dark grey accents are seen on the interior in the form of brushed satin centre console trim finishers along with grained Ebony leather seats with contrasting Light Lunar stitching and a perforated mid-section.
The luxury automaker further added, "An Evoque rolls off the Halewood production line every 170 seconds, with Evoque Convertible also being produced in Halewood since 2016. Most are for export to one of 130 markets, with additional manufacturing in China and Brazil to meet local market demand."
"In fact, 80 per cent of UK-built Evoque models are exported. Jaguar Land Rover generates around 80 per cent of its revenue from overseas sales," continued the company.
The Evoque Landmark Special Edition gets Land Rover's latest technology including the optional 10-inch InControl Touch Pro system featuring apps like the Spotify and a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.
The Remote Premium app for a smartphone or smart watch allows owners to monitor the fuel level, lock status, location as well as pre-heat or cool the cabin.
Those looking for an even more enhanced Evoque infotainment experience can choose Touch Pro Services, which provides real-time traffic mapping, satellite and ‘street level' views. Additionally, you also receive a ‘Live Apps' sidebar with the weather, news headlines, and a flight tracker.
