Porsche 718 Cayman And Boxster To Launch In India On February 15
Porsche had changed the engine that will feature on the 718 Cayman and Boxster range.
German automaker Porsche will launch its new 718 Cayman and the 718 Boxster in India on February 15, 2017. The new models will feature less powerful engines and some design changes on the outside.
Porsche had changed the engine that will feature on the 718 Cayman and Boxster range. The models are now equipped with turbocharged four-cylinder engines instead of the old flat-six units.
The Cayman and Boxster models that are going to launched in the country will feature a 2.0-litre engine which is tuned to deliver 296bhp of power and 380Nm of torque. The powerplant is mated to a 7-speed PDK gearbox.
This all-new engine is capable of propelling the car from 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and the models will have a top speed of around 275 km/h.
Along with the engine change, both the cars have received a tweaked suspension, some minor updates to the exterior design and the latest touchscreen infotainment system on the inside.
The price tag of Porsche 718 range in India is expected to start from Rs 80 lakh, which is less expensive than the ongoing models. Porsche also offers a lot of customisation options for both the cars which will increase the price tag even more.
