Nissan X-Trail Adds Drone To Options List — The Vainest Add-on Ever?

Nissan has added the Bebop 2 drone to the X-Trail X-Scape pack to capture your active lifestyle moments.

Nissan has added a drone to the X-Trail SUV as optional to its X-Scape pack, where drivers can capture aerial footage of them driving.

The Nissan-branded drone, built by Parrot Bebop 2, weighs just over a pound (close to 1/2kg) along with a Parrot Skycontroller 2 remote control and Parrot Cockpitglasses headset.

The headset offers "First Person View" functionality, which streams a live video supplied from the 14-megapixel camera straight to the user. The drone has a flight time of up to 25 minutes and when not in use you can store it in a custom backpack-style storage case.

Also, the drone comes with follow-me functionality, which suggests you could (probably) have it fly along behind the car as you drive through some of your exciting off-road adventures.
