The Kicks SUV is the first product to be based on the Renault-Nissan Common Module Family (CMF-B) platform. We expect the company to Heavy localization the SUV.
Speaking about the exterior, the car is expected to stay true to its concept design. While, the interiors has features such as - a multi-layered dual-tone dashboard, contoured leather seats, and plush door trims.
A touchscreen 7-inch infotainment system with around view monitor, dig-analog instrument console and a multifunction flat-bottomed steering wheel are the other features that the car has.
The SUV measures 4,295 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width and 1,590 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. Seating capacity will be offered to 5 passengers.
Mechanically, the car is expected to be powered by the same tried and tested 1.5-litre K9k diesel engine sourced from Renault. The engine will be offered in two states of tune - 83 and 107 bhp of power. Later, we expect Nissan to put a petrol engine on offer as well.
Moreover, the Kicks is likely to be a replacement for the Nissan Terrano. Once launched, the Kicks will lock horns with the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster and the Honda BR-V.
