Japanese carmaker Toyota is looking forward to launch the new 2017 Corolla in India this March, according to reports. The updated sedan will receive cosmetic updates, and the most prominent design feature will be a sharper nose.
While Toyota will retain the overall basic profile of the car, the new Corolla will receive a sharper front end, in line with Toyota's new design language.
The new Corolla could feature sleeker headlights and get bi-beam LED lights up front, similar to the new Fortuner. The rear end of the car could also undergo changes and receive a new set of tail lamps.
Speaking of the Corolla's interior, the new sedan could feature soft touch materials, a redesigned dashboard, newly designed air conditioning controls, and a larger infotainment system.
In terms of power, the new 2017 Toyota Corolla is expected to carry forward the same 1.8-litre petrol engine that makes 140bhp and the 1.4-litre diesel engine that makes 88bhp.
Speaking about the Corolla's competition in India, the sedan faces tough competition from the Hyundai Elantra and the Skoda Octavia, which is seen in the image gallery below.
