The 2018 Jaguar I-Pace was spotting testing in Monaco. The electric crossover was shooting a promotional video without any disguise.
British luxury car manufacturer Jaguar is all set to debut its electric crossover, the 2018 I-Pace. Ahead of that the crossover has been spotted testing without any disguise.
The 2018 I-Pace which was spotted testing looks like a final production variant. The crossover was spotted testing at night on the streets of Circuit de Monaco. Jaguar's first electric vehicle was shooting a promotional video to show off its stylish design.
The I-Pace electric crossover was first showcased at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. The design of the I-Pace is not changed much compared to the concept variant. There are hardly any changes and looks the same as the concept version.
Jaguar has already stated that the I-Pace will be equipped with a 90kWh battery pack with a range of 500km. But under realistic tests, the electric crossover deliver a range of 354km.
The 2018 I-Pace will be offered with an all-wheel-drive system. Two electric motors will propel the crossover with a combined output of 400bhp and 700Nm of torque. The EV can sprint from 0-100 in around 4 seconds.
Jaguar is likely to reveal the official images and details of the 2018 I-Pace in the coming weeks. The electric crossover will hit production by early-2018 at the Magna Steyr's Austrian manufacturing facility.
