MotoGP Legend Valentino Rossi Survives A Horrible Car Accident
Valentino Rossi, who left unscathed, lost control of his Audi RS6 on a road in Italy.
MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi lost control of his Audi RS6 on a road near Madonna di Campiglio, Italy. He was wrapping up his pre-season holidays at a ski resort and the accident happened while leaving the area.
The nine-time world champion was unharmed from the accident but the car was damaged badly. The 600bhp monster suffered dents to the rear bumper, a fractured wheel and axle, and a broken Akrapovic exhaust.
Rossi has to spend a whopping amount of €1,25,000 (Rs 90 lakh) for making his Audi RS6 look normal. The Doctor will spend his time in the town of Pinzolo for the next few days before heading to the Yamaha team presentation scheduled on January 19, 2017, in Madrid.
The season-opener of the 2017 MotoGP season is held at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar on March 26, 2017. The Italian is teaming up with Maverick Vinales for this year's championship at Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team.
