Mitsubishi Teases New SUV For Geneva Motor Show — Is This The Eclipse?
Mitsubishi's new SUV is set to make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in a few weeks time.
Japanese carmaker Mitsubishi has released the first image of its upcoming production SUV that is set to make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in early March.
The image shows the rakish side profile of the new SUV which is reminiscent of the XR PHEV II concept seen at the 2015 running of the Geneva Motor Show.
The image also reveals the angular sculpted taillights along with a whiff of the front end of the new SUV which is expected to adopt the Mitsubishi family front end as seen in the Outlander.
The new SUV is expected to use the Eclipse moniker and will use a set of small turbocharged petrol and diesel engines along with hybrid powertrains as the company pushes forward in its pursuit of cleaner cars.
The new Mitsubishi SUV is expected to take on the likes of the Nissan Qashqai and the Toyota CH-R. It is still not known if Mitsubishi will ever bring the car to India.
