Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Prices Drop After GST
Mitsubishi has passed on the benefits of GST to customers by reducing the prices of the Pajero Sport SUV.
Due to the implementation of Goods and Service Tax (GST) from July 1, 2017, Mitsubishi has announced a significant drop in price for its Pajero Sport SUV.
Mitsubishi has slashed the prices by Rs 1,04,740 across all the variants of the Pajero Sport. The prices of the SUV now starts from Rs 26.64 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
The Pajero Sport SUV draws power from a 2.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 175bhp. The 4x2 variant comes with a 5-speed automatic gearbox and pumps 350Nm of torque. The 4x4 5-speed manual variant produces 400Nm of torque.

In May 2017, Mitsubishi launched a new variant of the Pajero Sport called as Select Plus. The new variant is offered with both the manual and automatic transmissions. It also gets additional equipment and a few changes to the exterior and interior.
The Pajero Sport Select Plus features blacked out roof, pillars, front grille and alloy wheels and black cladding around the wheel arches, door and front bumper. It also gets chrome finished door handles and ORVMs.
The other new features on the Select Sport variant include LED DRLs, cruise control, electric ORVMs, HID headlamps and DVD players installed on the front seat headrests.

The Pajero Sport has not been a performer in the Indian market. But the Japanese automaker recently launched a new variant of the SUV. The Pajero Sport faces fierce competition from the likes of Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and Isuzu MU-X.
