MG Teases Sport Car Concept Ahead Of Global Debut
British carmaker MG has teased its upcoming return to the sports car fold by releasing a few teaser images of the concept car set to debut this month.
British carmaker has released a few images that tease its upcoming E-Motion sports car concept. The E-Motion Concept will make its global debut at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show later this month.
The images of the E-motion concept released by the British carmaker's Chinese owners SAIC, tease the upcoming sports car and show off a radical new design from MG.
Up front, the E-Motion's large chrome grille with its floating MG badge is flanked by headlamps featuring some rather eye-catching LED daytime running lights.
Viewed from the side, the MG E-Motion Concept features the classic sports car design cues with a long bonnet and sharply raked roofline. The extended doors sport bold character lines, and there is no B-pillar in sight.
At the rear, the vertical tail lights and the steeply raked window are sure to attract eyeballs anywhere the car is seen.
MG is yet to release any details regarding the E-Motion Concept. However, if earlier reports and its name are anything to go by, the car will be powered only by electric motors capable of getting it from 0-100km/h in under 4 seconds while delivering a range more than 300 miles (482 kilometres).
