Mercedes-Maybach G650 4×4² Landaulet Spied Ahead Of Launch
Mercedes has been spotted testing the new Maybach G650 4×4² Landaulet convertible in Namibia.
Mercedes is testing an array of new SUVs, and of late, a convertible G650 4×4² was spied, hinting that the German carmaker would launch an open-top version of its most extreme off-roader.
But the truth is, the spied vehicle is a Mercedes-Maybach Landaulet, the first Maybach SUV that is to make it debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle was seen testing in Namibia, and pictures appeared in multiple social networking sites.
The images reveal that the passenger cabin is separated from the driver's, allowing the passengers to experience a top-less drive, be it on-road or off it.
In terms of power, the Mercedes-Maybach G650 4×4² Landaulet could get the same engine as the Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet, a 6.0-litre V12 that generates 630bhp. The G650 4×4² Landaulet is expected to be built in limited numbers, which could result in the vehicle being sold away in a flash.
There is no word as to when Mercedes will release details about the G650 4×4² Landaulet, but keeping in mind that the Geneva Motor Show is around the corner, more details will emerge.
When spoken about luxury and performance, Mercedes know how to build a car, like the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster pictured below.
