Maruti-Suzuki has released a new image teasing the new Swift Dzire compact sedan ahead of its launch in India next month.
Thankfully, the spy images and the teaser show that Maruti seems to have got the boot of the new Dzire look like a more natural part of the car compared to the current car's trunk. This thankfully has improved the proportions of the current car as well.
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to carry forward the current car's powertrain options with both the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre engines expected to be retained in the new car. Also expected to be brought forward are the 5-speed manual gearbox and the Auto Gear Shift AMT gearbox.
Along with the new exterior design, the interiors will sport a new look as well with a dual tone dashboard, faux wood inserts, a twin-pod instrument cluster and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. The infotainment system will sport Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire will launch in India in a month's time on May 25th, almost half a year ahead of the car it is based on, the Swift, which will enter India at the 2018 Auto Expo next February.
