Maruti Suzuki Swift Now Comes With The Standard Safety Feature
Maruti Suzuki has updated the safety equipment on its Swift hatchback. Now all the variants of the car will come with driver side airbag as standard.
In the recent times, the car manufacturers and customers are more concerned about the safety of the vehicle. In this regard, several automakers are adding essential safety features as a standard equipment in their vehicles.
India's leading automaker Maruti Suzuki is not behind in terms of safety. The company is offering dual-front airbags and ABS as standard on cars sold through Nexa. Now the manufacturer has added an standard safety feature to its Swift hatchback.
According to a report from TeamBHP, Maruti Suzuki will offer driver side airbag as a standard fitment in all the variants of the Swift hatchback. The Swift is offered in 6 trim levels - LXi, LDi, VXi, VDi, ZXi and ZDi.
Although only Z trims will come with front dual airbags as a standard feature, whereas the other variants get the additional safety feature as an optional equipment.
Maruti Suzuki has recently upgraded the safety features of the CIaz and Baleno by offering ISOFIX mounts, now the company will also offer ISOFIX mounts on the S-Cross as well.
The newly launched crossover model, the Ignis also features ISOFIX mounts, which means all the models sold through company's premium dealership NEXA is equipped with dual-front airbags, ABS and ISOFIX mounts.
