Maruti Suzuki Reportedly Fixing An Issue In The New Dzire
India's leading automaker Maruti Suzuki is reportedly replacing the steering assembly of the newly launched Dzire.
India's leading automaker Maruti Suzuki recently launched the new-gen Dzire in the Indian market. And now the manufacturer is reportedly dealing with an issue in the car.
TeamBHP reports that Maruti Suzuki is replacing the steering assembly of the 2017 Dzire. The company has also instructed the dealerships to hold the deliveries of the compact sedan until the issue is solved.
But it is not yet known whether the steering assembly issue is present in all the cars or a specific batch of vehicles. Maruti Suzuki is shipping the new steering assembly to the dealerships and asked them to replace the same before the delivery.
The company is also fitting the new steering assembly at its factory before delivering the new Dzire to the dealerships across the country.
The third-generation Maruti Dzire is available in two engine options - a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.3-litre four-cylinder oil burner. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox.
DriveSpark Thinks!
Maruti Suzuki introduced the new Dzire less than a month ago. And the car is already facing an issue. The company needs to focus on the build quality of the components before delivering the vehicles to the customers.
